My leadership ensured high journalistic standards, cohesive collaboration, and a creative vision that set my publication apart from the competition, showcasing excellence in student journalism.

To win this award I demonstrated excellence in creatively using social media to engage the audience, promote content, and cover school events with journalistic integrity, including strategies such as effective storytelling, utilizing platforms to enhance coverage of timely news, or running successful campaigns to engage the school community.

The National Scholastic Press Association's Leadership Award recognizes high school students who demonstrate leadership in their school's journalism program, such as editing, managing, or leading a student news organization. To win this award, I managed editorial responsibilities, guided students, and demonstrated initiative to improve the publication's overall quality and success. Whether through mentoring new staff, overseeing complex editorial projects, or playing a key role in maintaining publication standards.

Columbia Scholastic Press Association Feature Package Honorable Mention (2023)
To be eligible for the Columbia Scholastic Press Association's (CSPA) awards for News or Feature Packages, your school must be a member of CSPA. Schools can submit up to 30 entries. To win this award, I conducted an interview, incorporated engaging storytelling, strong writing, and professional presentation that resonated with target audience as part of a package story.
